seven steps for eco-schools

Empowering students to be the change our sustainable world needs by engaging them in fun, action-orientated learning.

 

Eco-Schools is the largest sustainable schools programme in the world and is operated by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).

 

FEE is a non-government, non-profit organisation promoting sustainable development though environmental education. It is an international umbrella organisation with one national member organisation per country representing FEE on the national level and in charge of implementing FEE programmes nationally. FEE currently has 83 member organisations in 68 countries worldwide.

 

In Australia our National Member is Keep Australia Beautiful.

Eco-Schools was first piloted in Australia in 2014. Narellan Vale Public School was one of the pilot schools. We also were the 3rd school in Australia to achieve a Bronze Award. Eco-Schools Australia
